This role requires a balance of technical expertise and strong business acumen, as the consultant will work closely with business units and application owners to understand identity needs, map user roles to appropriate groups, and ensure proper access provisioning, deprovisioning, and review processes are in place.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and implement IAM frameworks, policies, and procedures aligned with best practices (NIST, ISO 27001, Zero Trust).<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with <strong>business stakeholders, application owners, and IT teams<\/strong> to understand identity integration requirements and ensure role-based access alignment.<\/li>\n<li>Analyse application access models to <strong>map user roles to appropriate groups<\/strong>, entitlements, and permissions.<\/li>\n<li>Lead efforts around <strong>user provisioning and deprovisioning<\/strong> processes, ensuring automation and consistency across systems.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate and perform periodic <strong>access certifications, entitlement reviews, and segregation of duties (SoD)<\/strong> checks.<\/li>\n<li>Integrate and support IAM tools and platforms (e.g., Okta, SailPoint, CyberArk, Microsoft Entra ID, Ping Identity).<\/li>\n<li>Implement and manage identity lifecycle processes: joiner, mover, leaver.<\/li>\n<li>Deploy and maintain authentication and authorization technologies (MFA, SSO, PAM).<\/li>\n<li>Conduct risk assessments, audit support, and remediation planning for access control gaps.<\/li>\n<li>Support regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, HIPAA, GDPR) with documentation and control enforcement.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend and drive improvements in IAM architecture and process maturity across cloud and on-prem environments.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Required Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, Information Security, or related field (or equivalent experience).<\/li>\n<li>5+ years in cybersecurity, with 3+ years focused on IAM architecture and operations.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in <strong>working with business and application stakeholders<\/strong> to gather identity and access requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of <strong>IAM concepts<\/strong>, including RBAC, ABAC, SAML, OAuth2, SCIM, OpenID Connect, MFA, and SSO.<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience with tools like <strong>Okta, SailPoint, Azure AD, Ping Identity, or CyberArk<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of directory services (Active Directory, LDAP) and cloud IAM (AWS, Azure, GCP).<\/li>\n<li>Experience conducting <strong>access reviews, certifications<\/strong>, and supporting audits.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Preferred Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Professional certifications: <strong>CISSP, CISM, Okta Certified Consultant, SailPoint IdentityNow, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals<\/strong>, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with scripting languages (PowerShell, Python) for IAM automation.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with compliance frameworks: NIST 800-63, SOX, HIPAA, GDPR.<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to DevSecOps and securing access in modern app architectures (microservices, APIs).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Soft Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong communication and business engagement skills.<\/li>\n<li>Analytical mindset with attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lead projects and mentor junior
